Design
The Oppo Reno5 5G comes with a very luxurious design, especially for the color display offered. For the Oppo Reno5 5G device we are reviewing the following, namely Galactic Silver. Where this color looks very shiny using the Reno Glow 2.0 design, with Picasus nano film on the Diamond Spectrum body, resulting in a sparkling effect with thousands of colors.
Apart from being beautiful, this also makes the back of the Oppo Reno5 5G fingerprint-free. Another color offered is Starry Black, with an elegant black appearance.
The dimensions of this device are also fairly slim, namely 159.1 x 73.4 x 7.9 mm, weighing 172 grams for the Starry Black model and 180 grams for Galactic Silver. With these slim dimensions, the Reno5 5G device also feels easy to hold.
On the front side there is a Neo-Display screen with an AMOLED panel measuring 6.43 inches in Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 px). This screen has a Screen-to-body ratio (claims Oppo) of 91.7%, a Refresh Rate of 90 Hz and a Touch Sampling Rate of up to 180 Hz.

The screen has been coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which makes it quite safe from knocks and scratches. In addition, the screen has also been certified by SGS Eyecare Display (SGS is a certification company from Hong Kong, more or less like TUV Rheinland), which ensures this device is safe for the user's eyes. For Netflix and Amazon Prime users, smartphone screens also support up to HD content.

Turning to the main specifications, this device is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC from Qualcomm. Yes, different from the standard Reno5 variant which only uses Snapdragon 720G, this smartphone uses a higher class SoC which of course supports 5G networks.

For memory, the Reno5 5G uses 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Unfortunately this smartphone does not support the use of Micro SD, so users cannot provide additional storage media.
The battery capacity is 4300 mAh, which comes with the advantages of SuperVOOC 2.0, supports charging up to 65 Watts. With this technology, the smartphone is claimed to be able to recharge the battery up to 60% in 15 minutes, 100% in 35 minutes. The power aspect has also been protected by 5 layers of safety with TUV Rheinland certification.
